About us

Typing Progress is a platform to measure your typing with a short test, understand your result and prove it with a verifiable certificate.

Anyone should be able to know how well they type

We want everyone to understand their typing skills clearly, in their own language, and to have a simple way to keep improving.

What guides us

  • Clear measurement. We measure words per minute, accuracy and errors with the same criteria for everyone.
  • In your language. The test and the results are available in 27 languages.
  • Verifiable results. Each certificate has a unique ID and a QR code to check that it is real.

How we calculate your result

  • The test lasts 1 minute and the timer starts with your first key.
  • Words per minute only count the characters you type correctly.
  • Accuracy compares your correct characters with everything you type.
