2. What data we process

• Your test results: speed, accuracy, errors, duration, language and date. We do not store the text you type.
• Account data: your email address and the name you choose for your certificates.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We only receive the payment confirmation and basic details, such as the last digits of your card.
• Technical data: language, currency, device type, where the visit came from and basic usage events, such as starting or finishing the test.
• If you ask us to email you the link, your email address so we can send it.

3. What we use it for

• Providing the service: running the test, showing results, generating reports and certificates and allowing them to be verified.
• Managing payments, the subscription and its cancellation.
• Sending you the link to the test or messages about your account.
• Improving the website and preventing fraud.
• Measuring advertising, only if you accept it in the cookie settings.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract you accept when using the service, based on our legitimate interest in improving and protecting it, to comply with legal obligations and, where applicable, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Public verification of the certificate

Anyone who scans the QR code on a certificate will be able to see the name, result, date and ID of that certificate. So only share it with people you want to.

6. Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us deliver the service and that act on our instructions: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (web hosting) and our email delivery provider. If you accept advertising cookies, also with platforms such as Google or Meta. We do not sell your data.

7. International transfers

Some providers are located in the United States. In those cases we use the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account or we need the data for the purpose for which it was collected. Billing data is kept for as long as the law requires. Certificates remain verifiable as long as your account exists.

9. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing by writing to support@typingprogress.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

10. Minors

The paid service is intended for adults. If you are a minor, you need permission from your parents or guardians.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version with its date.
